不定代词
不明确指代某个人、某个事物、某些人、某些事物的代词叫不定代词。
① other others
other:“另一个”,表示泛指。
others 是 other 的复数形式，泛指“剩余的
其他人/物”
Liu Huan is a well-known musician, and Han Hong is the other.
刘欢是一位著名的音乐家，韩红是另一位。
We should help others and learn from others.
我们应该帮助别人和向别人学习。
A candle lights others and consumes itself.

the other: 特指两者中的“另一个”。

(指除去一部分后剩下的全部)

one… the others…: 强调确定数目中的“一个”与“其余的”。

other 还可做 adj. 修饰名词
意为“其他的,另外的,别的 ”，作定语用，后需加复数名词。

1.pron.: 单独使用时泛指三者或三者以上中的“另一个”,
只能代替单数可数名词。
2.adj.: 意为“另外的,再一,又一”。
A) another + 单数可数名词:“另一个”,表示在原来基础上
增加一个。
B)another + two / five / few…+ 复数可数名词: 另外两个/五个/几个…
I don’t like this one. Please show me another. (pron.)
我不喜欢这个，请给我看看另一个。

He threw the ball to another player. (adj.修饰n.)
他把球传给另一个队员。
