    Review the structures
    复习直接引语与间接引语的用法: 直接引语:直接引用他人的原话叫直接引语,要把他人的原话放在引号内。 间接引语:用自己的话来转述他人的话语叫间接引语,转述中不能用引号。间接引语常常会是一个宾语从句。 在转换时需要注意以下几个方面:
    复习直接引语与间接引语的用法:在转换时需要注意以下几个方面: 时态的变化:直接引语变为间接引语时,若主句为过去时态,变为间接引语的宾语从句通常要往后推一个时态。 若直接引语为过去完成时,间接引语可不变。当直接引语中有情态动词。
    时态的变化:can, may → culd, might,must → had t,也可不变,shuld, ught t, had better 等可不变。若直接引语为客观真理,间接引语时时态不变。直接引语有特定的过去时间状语时,时态也可不变。
    时间状语变化:nw → then, tday → that day,tnight → that night,yesterday → the day befre,this mnth → that mnth,last week → the week befre,three years ag → three years befre,tmrrw → the next day,next year → the next year,
    代词、动词、地点状语的变化: this → that; these → thse here → there若在当地转述: here 可不必改为 there。 cme → g; bring → take若地点和场所未发生改变: cme 和 bring等也可不变。
    直接引语为陈述句变为间接引语: 将直接引语变为由that引导的宾语从句。 say t sb. → tell sb. 当直接引语是两个并列的陈述句,要注意在 第二个宾语从句前加连词that。直接引语是疑问句时变为间接引语: 一般疑问句变为由if或whether引导的宾语从句;特殊疑问句变为由“疑问词”引导的宾语从句。 改为宾语从句的间接引语要用陈述句语序。
    直接引语是祈使句时变为间接引语:用ask / tell / rder / warn sb. t d sth. 这一结构进行转换时,若祈使句为否定式,则用ask / tell / rder sb. nt t d sth.,其中ask,tell,rder,warn等动词的选择要根据句子的语气而定。
    将表示命令、请求、建议直接引语改为间接引语
    表示请求或命令的祈使句由直接引语变为间接引语时,要特别注意以下几点: 1. 要将祈使句中省去的人称代词要补上,将原句中的动词变为动词不定式,并在不定式的前面加上 ask, rder, tell 等转述动词;如果祈使句为否定式,在不定式的前面加上nt。He said, “Cme here.” → He asked me t g there. He said, “Dn’t shut the windw!” → He tld us nt t shut the windw.
    注意以下几点: 2. 如果祈使句是命令,间接引语常用的动词有: tell / rder / ask / request 等, 后常接 sb. (nt) t d sth. Mrs. Li said, “Dn’t play in the street.” → Mrs. Li tld us nt t play in the street. “Please turn n the radi.” My mther said t me. → My mther asked me t turn n the radi.
    注意以下几点: 3. 有些表示建议的祈使句,变成间接引语时常用 suggest ding / suggest that sb. (shuld) d ... 或advise sb. t d / advise that sb. (shuld) d ... 既:“suggested + 宾语从句 (或动名词)” 结构 He said, “Let’s g t the park.” → He suggested (ur) ging t the park. → He suggested that we shuld g t the park.
    注意以下几点: 3. 用 suggest ding / suggest that sb. (shuld) d ... 或advise sb. t d / advise that sb. (shuld) d ... 既:“suggested + 宾语从句 (或动名词)” 结构“Let’s g camping this weekend.” Tm said t us. → Tm suggested (us) ging camping that weekend. → Tm suggested that we shuld g camping that weekend.
    【温馨提示】 1) 表示建议、要求、劝告的祈使句都可以用此句型。2) 间接引语中引述动词不能用say。3) 如果祈使句是否定形式,不定式前要加上否定词 never 或 nt 。4) 祈使句中的 please 在间接引语中必须省去。

    2. “Dn’t make s much nise, bys.” The teacher said.
    Practice 把下列直接引语转为间接引语:

    6. “Please sit dwn and have a rest.” she said t us.
    7. Mr. Liu says, “dn’t be late again.”
    8. The teacher said t the students, “Dn’t waste yur time.”
    → The teacher tld the students nt t waste their time.
    → The teacher rdered me nt t play games.
    → Miss Helen cmmand the nisy bys t be quiet.
    9. “Dn’t play games in the classrm.” the teacher says.
    10. “D be quiet, please!” Miss Helen said t the nisy bys.

    16. My sister said, “Yu’d better tidy yur rm by yurself.”
    → My sister advised me t tidy my rm by myself.
    → Mther tld me nt t spend t much time n ftball.
    17. Mther said t me, “Dn't spend t much time n ftball!”
    18. “Let me stay up a little lnger tnight, mther.” he begged.
    → He begged his mther t let him stay a little lnger that night.

    → He suggested (us) leaving the luggage at the statin.

    The teacher gave the class sme hmewrk and asked them t give it t her the next mrning. One bay said he culd nt hear her clearly and asked his classmate t tell him what she had said. The classmate repeated the teacher’s instructins and the by was grateful t him.
